About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate I is responsible for manufacturing biologics (LV) under cGMP conditions. The role follows established procedures, executes batch production records using good documentation practices, and adheres to gowning procedures required for work in a cleanroom environment. The position is performed in a temperature-controlled, sanitized laboratory setting. It routinely uses standard medical and research equipment and involves frequent exposure to cultured human cells (immortalized, not primary) and lentivirus-derived vector particles. Employees entering and leaving the laboratory wear appropriate clothing and protective equipment. The work environment usually has a moderate noise level. The anticipated base salary range is $22.01–$25.91 per hour. Final compensation depends on factors including internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The company offers health, vision, and dental insurance and a 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions may be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.

Responsibilities

Follow cleanroom Standard Operating Procedures for gowning, traffic flows, and modes of operation.
Successfully complete gowning aseptic-process qualification.
Follow batch-record instructions and complete GMP documentation.
Use production equipment properly and in accordance with cGMPs, SOPs, and safety policies.
Clean equipment and work areas as required.
Assist with revision and review of established documentation, including SOPs and BPRs.
Maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed.
Complete purchase order requests.
