About The Position

LINAK is hiring a Manufacturing Assembler I to assemble products that meet or exceed customer expectations safely and effectively. The role produces products according to schedule, using standard procedures in an assigned work cell. Assemblers read instructions and assemble products or sub-assemblies, use hand and power tools, and follow applicable safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules. The position also supports continuous improvement and may include other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 months of assembly experience is preferred.
• Be goal-oriented and have a high degree of enthusiasm.
• High efficiency, productivity, and flexibility are necessary.
• Be able to perform job rotations or cross-training and meet the physical demands of all jobs on the line.
• Screening requirements include a criminal background check, basic skills assessment, and education verification.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read instructions and assemble products or sub-assemblies.
• Use a wide range of hand tools and power tools.
• Follow safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations while assembling.
• Produce according to schedule using standard procedures in a safe and effective manner in an assigned work cell.
• Use C-4 and other tools to foster continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
