About The Position

The Manufacturing Assembler assembles, reworks, and repairs products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and established quality standards. This entry-level position uses hand tools, electrical tools, and measuring equipment while following written instructions and safety procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to maintain a clean and organized work area. This is a six-month contract position with a possible extension, located at 2501 West University Drive, McKinney, Texas. The available shift is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position is open to candidates engaged on a W-2 basis; 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered. The stated pay range is $18–$20 per hour. Benefits are available based on eligibility.

Requirements

Detail-oriented and willing to learn.
Able to lift, carry, or push up to 10 pounds.
Follow written instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment.
Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
Perform quality work checks, identify product defects, and record identified defects.
Assemble, rework, and/or repair assemblies and products according to engineering specification changes.
Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
