About The Position
Labconco Corporation is seeking an Assembler to join its team in Fort Scott, Kansas. The role assembles small- to large-scale laboratory products and equipment, using knowledge applicable to electrical and mechanical assembly. Assembly is non-repetitive and performed according to blueprint specifications.
Requirements
- Knowledge of product assembly.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, wiring schematics, bills of materials, or associated work instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical/mechanical assembly.
Nice To Haves
- Previous industrial assembly experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble laboratory equipment according to blueprint specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems with some help.
- Select appropriate tools, materials, and equipment for non-repetitive assembly work.
- Assemble products to meet quality and performance expectations.
