This role is for a Sales Representative at Cavco in Hamlet, NC, responsible for selling homes manufactured by Cavco Industries to various distribution points.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Effective ability to communicate orally and in written form effectively with co-management, internal, and external customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to travel to all existing customers and prospective retailers, builders, developers, and communities at least 30% of the time.
