About The Position

Our client in Maple Shade, NJ, is seeking a CNC Machinist to support their team. This is a Temp to Hire role offering between $27-$30/hr based on experience. The schedule for this role is 6AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday – overtime is available on Saturdays.

Requirements

Must have 2-3 years of machining experience
Experience operating manual mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders or CNC equipment is required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience using precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.

Nice To Haves

Experience with OD and/or ID grinding is preferred
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Tool & Die experience.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment.
Perform precision machining operations including: OD Grinding, ID Grinding, Honing, Milling, Drilling, Tapping
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Ensure parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Complete production and quality control documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
