About The Position

The Manifestor tracks incoming and outgoing products and assists with inventory and related record-keeping functions. The role scans pallets, records case counts, weights, dates, numbers, and codes, and creates pallet labels. The Manifestor ensures required paperwork is completed on time, checks that pallets and labels are accurate, and confirms shipments are sent to the correct destination. The position also supports team coordination, established operating systems, and other duties needed to meet business objectives.

This role is performed in a plant environment and requires working on one's feet for the entire shift in cold, hot, and noisy conditions. The work involves light to moderate physical effort and frequent movement, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Required personal protective equipment includes standard waterproof gloves, hearing protection, a chemical-resistant apron and gloves, a face shield, and reinforced-toe footwear.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently in a plant environment and remain on one's feet for the entire shift.
• Ability to perform the described physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to make sound decisions and communicate effectively with coworkers and the leadership team.
• Ability to use the required personal protective equipment.

• Preference for experience in a poultry or food-processing organization.

Responsibilities

• Scan pallets to capture accurate case counts, weights, and dates.
• Document numbers and codes for each pallet and create pallet labels.
• Complete paperwork in accordance with established time frames and record-keeping requirements.
• Verify that pallets and labels are correct and are sent to the right destination.
• Participate in team development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies; coordinate work with team members to support B.E.S.T. practices.
• Attend appropriate team meetings and support team cohesiveness on major issues.
• Identify issues affecting team cohesiveness, raise them with the team leader, and work with the team to resolve them.
• Follow and support Simmons’ established operating systems, including quality, security, office environment, and company policies; communicate concerns and ideas for improvement.
• Perform other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
