About The Position

Senior Helpers – South Tacoma is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a senior client in Tacoma. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide one-on-one care in the comfort of a client’s home, allowing you to build a genuine connection while helping someone remain safe, independent, and comfortable. This position requires a caregiver who speaks Mandarin, as the client’s primary language is Mandarin. In order to provide safe care, clear communication, and meaningful companionship, the caregiver must be able to understand and speak Mandarin with the client. This ensures the client’s needs, safety concerns, and daily interactions are properly understood and supported. In addition to this assignment, caregivers may have the opportunity to pick up additional open shifts that fit their schedule. Working at Senior Helpers means showing up each day to make someone’s life better. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support while building meaningful relationships with the clients you serve. Unlike facility work, our caregivers provide one-on-one care in the client’s home, allowing you to focus on personalized support and companionship. Our office team is always available to support you. We believe caregivers are the heart of what we do, and we work hard to ensure you feel respected, appreciated, and supported. Accurate documentation is an essential part of providing safe, high-quality care. Caregivers are required to complete detailed shift notes in our caregiving app at the end of every visit, documenting the care provided, the client’s condition, and any changes observed. Clear communication through documentation helps ensure continuity of care between caregivers and keeps families and the care team informed. Caregivers who take pride in thorough documentation and professional communication are highly valued on our team.
