About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care for clients in the North Port area. The role focuses on building trust, providing companionship, and helping clients maintain independence while assisting with daily needs. Caregivers follow individualized care plans and communicate professionally with clients’ families and the office team. The position offers flexible full-time and part-time scheduling, primarily weekday day shifts, and a supportive office environment.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Access to a smartphone and email.
• Practical caregiving experience is preferred; experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide companionship and help clients maintain independence.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide transportation and assist with shopping and errands.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
