About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Caregivers provide companionship and emotional support, assist with personal care and daily living needs, prepare meals, provide medication reminders, perform light housekeeping and laundry, run errands and grocery shop, and provide transportation to appointments. The role also involves completing care documentation and clocking in and out using a smartphone.

Requirements

• Be dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and active automobile insurance.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Be comfortable using a smartphone for documentation and clocking in and out.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with seniors or adults with disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/LNA certification or experience.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience.
