One on One Caregiver

About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking reliable and compassionate Caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes. Caregivers assist clients with their needs while building meaningful relationships. The role includes electronic documentation and clocking in and out using a smartphone.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Professional or personal caregiving experience with seniors or adults with disabilities is preferred.
- Must be dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional.
- Must enjoy helping others.
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active automobile insurance required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and documentation.
- Availability for day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
Nice To Haves
- CNA/LNA certification is a plus.
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one companionship.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run errands and shop for groceries.
- Transport clients to appointments.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Complete electronic documentation and clock in and out using a smartphone.
