About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Mandarin Chinese Teacher for a client in Dallas, United States. This is a one-to-one general language course with a total of 32 hours, with sessions lasting two hours each. The student is a beginner, aged 18-24, and wishes to learn Mandarin for travel communication. The preferred start date is 2026-09-30, with classes scheduled twice a week (Wednesday and Friday at 5 pm). The location is flexible and can be at the teacher's home/office in Dallas if possible. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time, freelance position.
Requirements
- Native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Dallas, United States.
- Ability to submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
- Meet the stated conditions.

Responsibilities
