About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere (and Online). We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for a freelance Thai Teacher for one of our clients in Seattle, United States. The course is a General, one-to-one format with a total of 40 hours, in two-hour sessions. The student is a beginner, aged 17 and under, with a motivation to learn Thai for fun and future travel to Thailand, possibly for study. The student's preferred schedule is 2-hour lessons twice per week, preferably on weekdays, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, anytime between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. The preferred start date is ASAP.
Requirements
- Native Thai speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Have a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (98105, Seattle).
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct one-to-one, two-hour Thai lessons twice per week.
- Adapt to the student's schedule and location preferences, which may be flexible.
- Communicate availability and earliest possible start date to Language Trainers.
