The role also entails executing consulting projects focused on vehicle occupant protection system performance, safety assessments, and regulatory compliance. The position requires developing a personal consulting practice and professional growth within Exponent, managing projects from start to finish, communicating updates to stakeholders, ensuring project deadlines and quality, and identifying business development opportunities. Additionally, the role involves developing and growing the Biomechanics Practice in Seattle, attracting new projects and clients, maintaining client relationships, building and leading diverse teams, mentoring technical staff, overseeing project budgets, setting up and executing test programs (including vehicle and component tests), and inspecting/analyzing vehicles, accident sites, and evidence. Promoting Exponent's expertise and professional reputation through publications, conference presentations, and committee service is also expected.
