About The Position
Exponent is seeking an Architectural Engineer for its Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Menlo Park, CA. This role involves leading and growing engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and contributing to the national practice. The position focuses on building envelope and material failures, requiring analytical and computer problem-solving skills, field investigations, technical reporting, client marketing, and project management.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture or M.S. + at least 4 years' post-graduation experience
- Presently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
- Willingness and ability to secure a professional license in Engineering (PE) or Architecture (AIA)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical information and present it to specialists and non-specialists alike
- Clear written communication and technical writing skills are required
- Proven dedication to quality and accuracy
- Versatile, team-oriented, willing to work overtime and travel when required
