The position is critical for establishing Monstro's market leadership in governed financial intelligence and securing marquee logos that will define the company's future in the institutional market.

Requirements

  • Senior individual contributor with a proven track record of personally closing $25M+ ACV enterprise technology deals into Tier-1 or large regional banks.

  • Experience with end-to-end ownership through delivery, understanding both signing deals and successful deployment.
  • Executive credibility in financial services with active, working relationships with senior decision-makers at Tier-1 banks.
  • Technical literacy, comfortable engaging substantively on core banking infrastructure, cloud, data architecture, APIs, AI governance, and security/compliance frameworks.
  • Domain depth with working knowledge of banking infrastructure, regulatory regimes, InfoSec processes, and institutional procurement/risk.
  • Operator mindset, energized by ambiguity and experience selling at an early stage where foundational elements were still being built.
  • Background as an early or top-performing enterprise seller at a company selling infrastructure into banks (e.g., Palantir, Snowflake, Databricks, Bloomberg, Oracle Financial Services, FIS/Fiserv, Finastra, Temenos, MongoDB, Confluent, or similar).
  • Global fluency, comfortable operating across major financial hubs (US, UK, Europe, Middle East) and willing to travel internationally.
  • Willingness and ability to represent Monstro externally to compound pipeline.

Nice To Haves

  • Run discovery, build the business case, drive technical evaluations, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
  • Own the forecast on accounts with discipline.
  • Develop pipeline through a deliberate, repeatable process including account mapping, outreach, executive briefings, partner channels, events, and content.
  • Build and sustain C-suite relationships at target banks and convert them into active executive sponsorship.
  • Run executive sessions, frame problems, defend architecture, and handle objections from procurement, risk, and InfoSec.
  • Translate deal cycles into reusable artifacts such as ICP refinement, qualification criteria, objection libraries, competitive positioning, ROI models, and proposal templates.
  • Partner with leadership on messaging, pricing structure, and packaging, bringing the voice of the institutional buyer back into the company.
  • Help define the enterprise sales motion as Monstro scales.
  • Drive complex procurement, InfoSec, regulatory, and legal review cycles in parallel with commercial negotiation.
  • Coordinate internally with Legal, Security, and Compliance to clear approvals.
