About The Position

American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Managers, Delivery Management to drive technology product delivery across platforms, domains, and lines of business, mitigating against impediments and risks to ensure timely product delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience with release planning, product delivery, and software integration across business units within the financial industry.
• 1 year of experience with Software design, development, testing, and implementation
• 1 year of experience Driving product delivery using Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies
• 1 year of experience Managing impediments, risks, and dependencies to facilitate product releases
• 1 year of experience with Agile rapid application development and CI/CD
• 1 year of experience with API development
• 1 year of experience with Apache Hadoop, Apache HBase, Bitbucket, Confluence, DB2, GitHub, Hive, Java, Jenkins, JIRA, JSON, JUnit, Maven, Microservices, PEGA Case Management Tool (Pegasystems), Oracle, Postman, Python, Rally, REST APIs, SOAP, Spark, Splunk, SQL Server, Sybase, Teradata, TOAD for Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Plan releases and set product development timelines, liaising with Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Prioritize release of new products across multiple lines of business.
• Facilitate software product development and testing, ensuring compliance with Software Development Lifecycle requirements.
• Align internal product delivery schedules with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
