Developmental Disabilities Association has an immediate opening for Manager in our Child & Family department. You bring strong communication and teamwork skills along with ECE experience to this position. Requirements
- Completion of BC Early Childhood Education Certification
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of Manager experience at multi-age, inclusive child care programs.
- Experience with special needs functional assessment, individual and group program design, and evaluation.
- Experience in the area of Behavior Management.
- Experience in Team Development and Leadership
- Criminal Record Clearance
- Medical Clearance
- Valid First Aid/CPR
- Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication
- Basic computer literacy
- Eligible to work in Canada
Nice To Haves
- Special Needs and/or Under 3 Certification is an asset.
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification (DDA will provide)
Responsibilities
- Ensure the needs of the program, children, and staffing are met in conjunction with the Assistant Director.
