Requirements

  • Strong understanding of assembly operations, production planning, and workflow optimization
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements
  • Proven ability to lead through others and drive accountability at the supervisor level
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to balance operational execution with longer-term process improvement
  • Effective communication and influence skills across all levels of the organization
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite of tools including Teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 7–10+ years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or telecom infrastructure environments
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors or multiple teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with telecom Hut/Infrastructure builds, rack integration, or similar environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end assembly operations for telecom cabinet integration, including production output, schedule adherence, and delivery performance
  • Translate production forecasts into staffing, scheduling, and workflow plans to meet demand
  • Monitor and manage KPIs including throughput, labor efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Identify risks to production and implement corrective actions to maintain performance
  • Lead and develop Assembly Supervisors and their teams; provide coaching, direction, and performance management
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability standards across all levels of the operation
  • Partner with HR on hiring, workforce planning, and employee relations matters
  • Build bench strength through training, cross-skilling, and succession planning
  • Design and implement scalable assembly processes, standard work, and workflow optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework, increase efficiency, and improve quality outcomes
  • Partner with engineering to improve build design, manufacturability, and installation efficiency
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure all assembly work meets engineering specifications, customer requirements, and internal quality standards
  • Partner with Quality teams to address defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain audit readiness and adherence to internal and external standards
  • Own safety performance across assembly operations; ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership engagement, training, and accountability
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Partner with Supply Chain to ensure material availability and minimize production disruptions
  • Partner with in-house IPS team to ensure Infrastructure assemblies availability and minimize production disruptions
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations leadership to align production with customer requirements and project timelines
  • Communicate operational performance, risks, and improvement plans to senior leadership
