Manager Supply Chain
About The Position
The Manager Materials Value Chain manages and coordinates operational activities for the division, including purchasing, material and supply distribution, linen distribution, mail processing, and other assigned functions. The role ensures shipments are accurate and in adequate condition, monitors inventory levels in relation to shipping and receiving, communicates with vendors, schedules and assigns work, resolves conflicts, and prepares reports and billings. The manager oversees materials resource needs for assigned departments, monitors budgets against established goals, and participates in developing the departmental budget, business plan, and quality assurance plan. The position requires travel approximately three days per pay period between OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Urbana and Peoria for departmental meetings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Five years of supply chain work experience.
- Experience with materials management computer systems, such as inventory control, accounting, receiving, and purchasing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
