About The Position

As Manager Studio, you report to the director of the Creation, Content and Operations Administrative Department. You’re responsible for the team’s service offering and performance, both in terms of quality and operational efficiency. You lead a team of about 30 design and writing professionals who support Desjardins Group’s marketing initiatives. You ensure rigorous, consistent and efficient execution that’s aligned with business priorities, expected quality standards, brand strategy and technological realities (marketing technology, automation, AI). This role goes beyond production management. You need to have a clear execution vision, be able to make decisions in a complex and changing environment, and have engaging leadership skills to continually adapt the skills, tools and work methods—especially in light of the opportunities presented by marketing technology, automation and AI. You’re responsible for overseeing your unit’s service offer and developing and implementing its action plan. You draw on your ability to develop talent and drive results to effectively manage people and performance, produce reports and ensure member/client satisfaction. You’re a strong and positive leader who sets an example for your team. You’re an agent of change who questions the status quo and challenges your team and project teams to improve organizational practices. You’re also a skilled communicator who can make a real impact on the entire organization, including senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of nine years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience in developing and maintaining new relationships
  • Experience in developing service offerings and organizational structure
  • Advanced intermediate proficiency in French and English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector or interest in it
  • Solid understanding of digital environments, marketing technology, content platforms and uses of AI applied to production
  • Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and optimize execution models in a context of modernization and transformation

Responsibilities

  • Define, champion and evolve a clear execution vision for the Studio, focused on quality, speed, consistency and business value.
  • Position the Studio’s service offering in alignment with business priorities, brand strategy and organizational capabilities.
  • Translate strategic directions into concrete, measurable deliverables that are adapted to agile and changing contexts.
  • Ensure overall coherence between large‑scale production, more customized initiatives and evolving practices.
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary design and writing team.
  • Foster an environment that encourages accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and performance.
  • Anticipate key skills to develop and support the team’s skills development.
  • Support change by adapting roles, operating models and ways of working to evolving organizational needs.
  • Act as an agent of change, adapt to organizational needs and changing practices.
  • Ensure the final quality of deliveries while optimizing lead times, costs and capacity utilization.
  • Update practices and processes to support efficiency, continuous improvement and testing in collaboration with the Desjardins.com Operations and Design Department.
  • Incorporate marketing technology tools and AI capabilities into production processes in a strategic and responsible way to maximize their value and efficiency.
  • Rethink ways of working to capitalize on automation, assisted generation and large-scale production.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, digital and technology teams to ensure greater consistency overall.
  • Carefully manage priorities, resources and risks in a changing environment, supported by performance indicators and operational data.
  • Ensure a constant balance between quality, speed of execution and operational efficiency to maximize delivery value.
  • Implement approaches to improve the speed and performance of activities.
