About The Position

Support the execution of the most complex, high priority strategic initiatives across the business with speed and precision. Play a key role in hitting our Group-wide value targets and shaping Endeavour’s future. Based in Sydney with hybrid working. As a Manager, Strategic Delivery you’ll be a core part of Endeavour’s new, high-calibre Transformation Office. We partner with senior leaders across the Group to drive our new strategy, and ensure we hit our value targets. Within the office, you’ll join a “strategic delivery” team that is deployed into business units for short, sharp stints to identify specific execution blockers, redesign delivery roadmaps, and instill the discipline needed to get key initiatives back on track.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or 5-8 years of experience in a dedicated internal Consulting/Strategy unit within a large corporate.
  • Proven experience being deployed into failing or stalled projects and successfully bringing them back on track to meet original or revised KPIs.
  • Advanced experience building and stress-testing business cases to ensure financial logic and assumptions are robust.
  • Experience working within a "matrix" environment, managing stakeholders across Finance, Tech, and Operations to resolve cross-functional blockers.
  • Experience in the "last mile" of delivery - rolling up your sleeves and working directly with stakeholders to address and resolve identified issues.
  • Expertise in distilling key insights and producing crisp, high-impact updates for the GM Transformation and ELT-level sub-committees.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the quantitative and qualitative "health checks" for specific workstreams, identifying technical, financial, or operational root causes for initiative drift.
  • Build and stress-test revised project schedules and business cases, ensuring that recovery milestones are realistic and grounded in data.
  • Act as a "squad lead" during short-term intervention sprints, working directly with initiative teams to clear technical backlogs and unblock critical path items.
  • Own the "recovery dashboard" for assigned projects, providing real-time visibility into whether intervention efforts are successfully moving the needle on key metrics.
  • Distill complex findings from diagnostic work into presentation-ready documents for the GM, Strategic Delivery to use in executive updates.
  • Identify common "failure patterns" across projects to help refine the RDO’s diagnostic playbook and diagnostic tools.
