About The Position

Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced Account Executive to support one of our fastest growing businesses within strategic accounts. In this high-impact role, you will drive significant revenue growth by developing and executing strategic plans that deliver exceptional value to our clients. You will have the exciting opportunity to work directly with executive stakeholders, leveraging your solution selling expertise to identify business challenges and architect comprehensive solutions that accelerate our customers' digital transformation journeys. Your collaborative approach and challenger mindset will be essential as you navigate complex sales cycles, build meaningful relationships with key decision-makers, and position AWS as the preferred technology partner. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can translate deep customer insights into actionable strategies that drive exponential business growth.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of stakeholder or account management experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience

Nice To Haves

  • BA or BS degree in a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or equivalent
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a wide spectrum of customer engagement levels
  • Bachelor's degree, or experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • 4+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic clients, serving as a trusted advisor who understands their business challenges and can articulate compelling AWS value propositions
  • Create and implement innovative solution selling strategies that address complex client needs, utilizing a challenger mindset to differentiate AWS offerings in competitive situations.
  • Collaborate across internal teams and with partners to orchestrate comprehensive solutions that accelerate customer adoption and ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic account planning, opportunity identification, and consistent engagement with key stakeholders.
