About The Position

We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager to manage the deployment and growth across EVCS's top site host partners. Beyond owning the customer relationship, you will also coordinate execution of a multi-year hardware rollout while optimizing operational performance to exceed both party’s goals. This is a truly cross-functional and high impact role that will shape the trajectory of our network growth.

Requirements

  • 5 years of professional experience in business development, infrastructure deployment, program management, and execution. Strong preference for EV charging, energy, or utility deployment experience
  • Proven success owning project/program execution from start to finish
  • Success managing external stakeholder relationships, preferably B2B customer-facing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Financial acumen and modeling, turning data into actionable insights and driving business results

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EV charging infrastructure, electric utilities and rate structures
  • Experience with securing and executing grant or rebate programs
  • Project/program management training or certification

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship holder for 1 to 3 strategic customer accounts through their deployment and operation phase, building trust with all stakeholders and leadership
  • Drive alignment between teams and lead regular update communications
  • Identify and secure additional partnerships to add value to the relationship at all phases
  • Create and own execution of multi-year infrastructure rollout at partner locations, monitoring project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal construction, engineering, network, and funding teams to consider entire business needs
  • Lead regular internal and external update communications on progress, issue escalation, and resolution
  • Work with internal and external construction resources to create an optimized deployment plan, considering hardware, utility, construction, and design
  • Optimize ongoing operational performance, minimizing opex (utility and maintenance costs) while maximizing revenue
  • Develop and maintain project and portfolio-level economics
