About The Position

The Manager, Solutions Engineering will lead Stellar’s Forward-deployed Solutions Engineering function end-to-end, enabling enterprise partners to design, build, and operate production-grade integrations on the Stellar network. The role is accountable for partner support from early technical discovery and solution design through production launch and ongoing support, with a focus on scalable, future-proof integrations aligned with the evolution of the Stellar ecosystem. This senior leadership role operates across engineering, architecture, and strategic partner engagement. It combines people management, architectural leadership, and program ownership. The manager will build and develop a team of Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers, including in-house employees and certified external collaborators; lead partner engagements; provide senior technical escalation support; and establish the engagement models, quality standards, and processes needed to scale the program. The position also works closely with Product and Engineering to communicate partner needs and inform roadmap priorities, and represents SDF in strategic partner discussions and technical reviews. Occasional travel for partner engagements is expected.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate among partner needs, technical constraints, and internal engineering and product priorities.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise or institutional partners, including senior technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for partner engagements.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for program outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Set and uphold technical quality standards for secure, scalable, maintainable, and future-proof enterprise integrations.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface recurring partner needs and tooling gaps and inform roadmap prioritization based on enterprise usage.
  • Design and scale repeatable engagement models, including partner tiering, SLAs, documentation standards, and feedback loops.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and certification for solutions engineers internally and across the Stellar partner ecosystem.
