This role is essential to shaping and amplifying the Hard Rock Hotel New York brand through compelling storytelling, visual creativity, and real-time guest engagement. The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and managing social media strategies that increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support revenue-generating initiatives across hotel outlets, events, and experiences. This role blends creativity, strategy, and analytics to ensure Hard Rock Hotel New York remains culturally relevant and digitally iconic.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all hotel social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms)
  • Develop and execute a content strategy and editorial calendar aligned with brand standards, marketing goals, and cultural moments
  • Capture and curate high-quality content including photography, short-form video, behind-the-scenes features, talent moments, events, and guest experiences
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, and Operations teams to highlight promotions, programming, partnerships, and hotel experiences
  • Engage with followers in real time, responding to comments, messages, and mentions with personality, professionalism, and brand voice
  • Partner with influencers, creators, and brand collaborators to extend reach and engagement
  • Monitor trends, pop culture moments, and competitive set activity to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, optimizing content and campaigns based on insights
  • Ensure all content reflects Hard Rock brand standards, luxury positioning, and local NYC energy
  • Support larger marketing campaigns, hotel openings, seasonal initiatives, and live events through social storytelling
  • All responsibilities are executed with elevated attention to detail, creativity, and consistency.
