About The Position

Nintendo of America is seeking a Manager, Social Media Marketing to manage relationships and partnerships to bring Nintendo products and initiatives to life on social media. This role involves managing and executing tactics, including partnerships, contract negotiations, content planning, creator feedback, and reporting. The manager will collaborate with the Communications team to identify opportunities for the celebrity community to engage with Nintendo products and drive engagement with targeted audiences. Key responsibilities include leading activities related to product launches and other marketing activities, directing external partners and agencies, and working internationally, cross-functionally, and across agency partners to identify new ways to drive awareness, advocacy, and purchase intent. The role also involves driving strategy and objectives for marketing programs and campaigns, defining and tracking quantitative and qualitative results, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. Additionally, the position may involve representing Nintendo as an official corporate spokesperson upon successful completion of training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) years related experience in influencer marketing, communications, public relations, or social media.
  • Experience managing direct reports required.
  • Experience developing and executing social media marketing programs.
  • Strong writing, editing, communications, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of all social media platforms, both as a marketer and as a user.
  • Experience with social media marketing KPIs including interpretation of data and creating actionable insights from that data.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.

  • Ensures that all projects and opportunities across cross-functional teams are aligned.
  • As designated, may represent Nintendo as an official corporate spokesperson; successful completion of training required.
