About The Position

The Manager/Senior Manager, FP&A, Commercial Finance & Sales Finance partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive profitable growth through disciplined planning, forecasting, performance management, and investment analytics. This role partners with the Chief Revenue Officer and the CEO to make data driven sales & marketing decisions. It also leads key components of budgeting and forecasting and provides decision support on pricing and commercial investments, develop customer/channel profitability insights, and elevates the quality and actionability of business reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, and/or business partnering (CPG or consumer products experience strongly preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proven ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience (required at both Manager and Senior Manager level).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Wholesale Sales Finance (pricing, trade/promo, program investment analytics, customer profitability).
  • Experience working with syndicated consumer data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen).
  • Experience with reporting/BI tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Experience working with ERP and planning/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key finance partner to Wholesale Sales leadership, providing insight into revenue/margin drivers, program performance, and executional results.
  • Support pricing and commercial execution decisions through analytics and structured decision support.
  • Support Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews by highlighting actual and forecasted performance, and developing risk/opportunity assessments and action plans.
  • Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and longer-range planning; build scenario analyses to assess risks/opportunities.
  • Own monthly/quarterly performance reporting, variance analysis, and clear synthesis of results into actions and recommendations.
  • Support strategic financial planning and resource allocation decisions with robust models and clear, fact-based recommendations.
  • Measure the effectiveness of commercial and marketing investments; conduct post-event/post-audit analyses (actual vs expected) and recommend improvements.
  • Track and report ROI and efficiency metrics to improve spend quality and inform future investment decisions.
  • Build and maintain profitability insights by customer, category, product, and channel; identify margin expansion opportunities.
  • Translate data into “so what” insights and recommendations (mix, price, volume, trade/programs, etc.).
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and decision-ready; continuously elevate clarity and actionability.
  • Develop/maintain dashboards and reporting outputs (preferred: Power BI).
  • Improve process consistency, forecasting accuracy, and data quality across planning and reporting workflows.
  • Manage and develop analysts and/or interns; set clear objectives, coach analytic rigor, and build a culture of fact-based decision-making.
  • Present insights clearly to senior stakeholders; communicate financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and influence decisions through credibility, structured thinking, and follow-through.
