About The Position

The Manager, FP&A – Commercial partners closely with the PGA TOUR’s Commercial segment to provide planning, reporting, and strategic analysis surrounding the PGA TOUR’s commercial products, namely the tournament schedule, sponsorship products, event operations models, and other commercial activity across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of five years experience in Accounting/Financial Field
  • Extensive experience with Workday and Report Writing software desired.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and large sets of financial and non-financial data
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear commercial insights for senior leadership

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Financial consolidation and presentation preparation experience is a plus
  • Adaptive and/or Office Connect strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with PGA TOUR Events, Corporate Partnerships, and other Commercial teams and internal stakeholders to understand financial projections and underlying business performance
  • Facilitate the preparation of PGA TOUR event and schedule financials, with management and review of budgets, monthly forecast, long-range plans, and underlying reporting workbooks to assist the commercial business and the PGA TOUR’s strategic decisions
  • Coordinate with Commercial stakeholders to evaluate contract renewals, payment terms, business opportunities, planning process enhancements, and any other ad-hoc financial needs
  • Prepare operating reviews and other financial presentations in multiple formats for internal business operators, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders, as necessary
  • Evaluate prospective business opportunities for short and long-term financial return and economic benefit, and produce evaluations for internal stakeholders, as necessary
  • Evaluate existing operating models at PGA TOUR events and trade-offs between sponsor value, event economics and TOUR strategy to optimize business performance and economic return to the company
  • Exercise independent judgment in evaluating scenarios, assumptions, and trade-offs to inform commercial recommendations to senior leadership
  • Partner with PGA TOUR FP&A, Tournament Financial Analysis, and Corporate Accounting to provide analysis surrounding actual and projected business performance and variances, as well as Financial System Solutions to enhance reporting, planning, and financial data infrastructure, as necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date financial information to support ad hoc requests when necessary
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
