About The Position

As a market leader in wireless networking solutions, Qualcomm has been instrumental in enabling Wi-Fi as the primary means of providing network access to devices in homes, small businesses, large enterprises, and public venues such as airports and hotels. We are at an inflection point in wireless networking where the next generation of Wi-Fi devices are going to be transformational in solving new challenges for Enterprise and IOT. As a Product Manager/ Business Development Manager for Qualcomm’s Wireless Infrastructure Networking (WIN) business you will be driving Enterprise business engagement across all Enterprise Tiers. You will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. This role is based in Santa Clara and would require in person office attendance 5 days a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 8+ years of total relevant experience with at least 3+ years in Product Management

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in Engineering, Business Administration
  • 5+ years Product Management or related work experience
  • Past work experience in Wi-Fi
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Wireless Networking requirements
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use data and metrics for making assumptions and decisions
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge or experience with Cloud and Services architecture a plus
  • MBA desired

Responsibilities

  • Leading customer engagements and translating Enterprise customer needs into product requirements
  • Quarterbacking customer meetings and guiding internal teams (Support, Engineering, Product) on customer priorities and requirements
  • Define product roadmap and features needed for next generation Enterprise Wi-Fi and Networking
  • Product evangelization, positioning and go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to explain, deliver and support Enterprise features from concept through design and launch to device EOL
  • Communicating both business and technical topics to senior leaders, internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Working closely with Sales team to identify and support new business opportunities
  • Having a good understanding of the business trends and continually monitoring competitor landscape and industry developments
