About The Position

The Manager SAP Source to Pay Business Analyst will play a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense by driving the oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation program. This program aims to harmonize business processes, tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, facilitating migration into standardized ERP systems, specifically SAP’s S/4HANA. The role involves detailed design, evaluation of gaps, system configuration, testing, and supporting the cutover and hypercare phases of the ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale business process and system transformation programs, particularly ERP implementations using SAP’s S/4HANA.

Requirements

  • University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Source to Pay business processes and technical system knowledge across Procurement (Product, non-product, and services), Accounts Payable (including supplier invoice management and supplier disbursement processes), Vendor (supplier) Master Data, Sourcing and Supplier contract management, Supplier collaboration and performance management, and Procurement and supply chain regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with SAP Fieldglass.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

  • Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects or similarly regulated, large organizations.
  • Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leverage S/4HANA, enhancing Source to Pay processes in alignment with the desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.
  • Support the creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.
  • Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices.
  • Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.
  • Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows, and data policies.
  • Deliver functional specifications for forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations, and workflows within the scope of Source to Pay as part of the program.
  • Mentor less experienced team members in specific areas of the Source to Pay business process hierarchy.
  • Ensure that RTX is positioned for future success within all functional areas of Source to Pay.
