Learn more at ou.edu/research Manager, Sooner Advanced Manufacturing Lab (SAML) The Manager for the OU Sooner Advanced Manufacturing Lab (SAML) core facility is responsible for the day-to-day organization and coordination of SAML. Working in close collaboration with the Faculty Director, researchers, and key stakeholders, internal and external, the successful candidate will be the point of contact for all building operations, including facility tours, events and daily business. This role manages access coordination, logistics, and event setup while overseeing the hauling, delivery, and inventory of supplies and materials. Additional responsibilities include acting as liaison to Facilities Management, responding to building issues such as power outages, providing technical expertise to faculty and students, and assisting with event planning and class presentations. This is a hands-on, varied role well suited to a highly organized professional who thrives in a dynamic campus environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree.
  • 36 months minimum of experience in facility management or project management.
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day organization and coordination of SAML.
