About The Position

The Sales Solution Manager reports to the AVP of Business Development and is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading pitches/RFPs for the sales teams from ideation through to client presentation/delivery. The Sales Solution Manager works closely with the sales and account team to ensure that all pitch requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. The Sales Solution Manager coordinates internal resources to ensure resource availability and allocation for the execution of pitches delivered within scope.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree
  • At least 5 years of proven and relevant experience in managing proposal development and coordination for agency type services (pharma industry experience preferred)
  • Advanced skill level in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Attention to detail including experience completing responses for large RFPs
  • Strong collaboration skills within cross-functional teams especially across sales, client services, and production teams
  • A self-starter with high levels of motivation and adaptability, along with an ability to solve problems/devise solutions

Responsibilities

  • Manages all pitch tasks – setting up internal meetings, coordinating requirements with creative, production and account teams. Ensuring completion of pitch from initial briefing to client delivery/presentation.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for pitches
  • Coordinates any aspect of the presentation delivery i.e. coordination with team on samples/demos needed, resourcing team members, etc.
  • Develops blogs and next steps following internal meetings
  • Gathers production estimate consolidates into client estimate, and develops timing requirements from team
  • Responsible for pitch deck – framework/deck structure, set up slides, provide feedback on idea write ups as needed. Ensures the pitch meets the expectations of the sales team.
  • Monitors pitch budgets and considers implications for client ballparks/estimates
  • Exploring gaps in the pitch process and providing tools to help push the sales team forward
  • Maintaining the case study library including coordinating with internal teams to ensure case studies are developed and published for relevant projects
  • Working with sales, production, and client services teams to evaluate and improve sales support process (e.g.,deal evaluation, solution development, estimating, etc).
  • Assisting with sales management tasks as directed by the AVP including opportunity tracking, sales forecasting, budget tracking, etc.
