About The Position
The Manager of Risk Management is a key member of the leadership team and will be responsible for assisting the Director of Risk Management in leading the hospital's Patient Safety-Risk Management Program. This role supports the implementation and maintenance of risk management and patient safety initiatives and contributes to hospital compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years' clinical experience or Risk Management experience required
- Acute care experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)
- Knowledge of the Joint Commission Standards
- Knowledge of Centers of Medicare Conditions of Participation
- Knowledge of acute care regulations
