About The Position

Capital One is seeking a Manager of Risk Management on its Process Innovation team to serve as a strategic partner during a period of transformation. Risk Managers work across business teams and with executives to create and implement solutions that identify and mitigate potential risks to the company. In this role for the Global Payment Network, the manager will drive strategy and execution for complex program design, ensuring the network’s evolution is supported by robust governance, controls, and process excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of financial services risk management experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering with, and interacting with internal business clients.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects and programs in risk.
• 5+ years of financial services risk management experience.
• Experience supporting payments or integration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Advise and consult with Vertical Risk Managers, Well-Managed Teams, and Business Partners on developing and implementing process innovation across Network L2s, and communicate areas of risk exposure to leadership.
• Manage, implement, and deliver key program deliverables and horizontal processes, coordinating across Business, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Drive strategy and program execution across the L2 hierarchy and ontology, Legal Library, and Governed Document programs.
