Manager, Retail Sales Group oversees the execution of the sales and lead generation strategy for Retail, with a particular focus on attracting new high value and high net worth clients and generating advisor consultations among existing clients with an expressed interest in PAS. This role develops a culture of ever present coaching, acting as both a student and teacher in the art of sales. The manager provides frequent and ongoing coaching of sales competencies and independent thinking skills to develop and grow their team to achieve specific business results. They are expected to model desired behaviors, activities, and results, and will personally participate in the sales process by answering inbound calls, initiating outbound calls, and managing a small book of cases. The role also involves assisting in the development of business and sales-related goals, working with peers and sales professionals to monitor progress, and developing close working relationships with internal partner groups to drive team conversion of sales leads. Additionally, the manager recognizes VOC, market trends, competitive offerings, and opportunities for improvement, and develops/recommends changes to departmental policies, procedures, and workflows. They guide the team to maximize opportunities and support the consultative sales model, analyze and resolve complex client issues, and review internal partner and client feedback. Participation in special projects and other assigned duties are also part of the role.
