About The Position

The Remarketing Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of inventory and transportation Coordinators to success. This includes assessing day-to-day performance, quality of work, reviewing existing processes for improvement, and goal setting. Managers are responsible for providing feedback and coaching to develop Coordinators to reach their highest potential in their current role and to help further develop their career with DriveTime. The Remarketing Operations Manager manages the Transportation Coordinators and vendors to ensure vehicles are delivered to auction within company expectations. They monitor and review the work of Coordinators to ensure it is effective and within Company and Legal policy, using tools such as formal account reviews and side-by-side monitoring to create development plans for their staff to address any deficiencies. They provide daily/monthly goals and strategy to their team that will maximize long-term success, administer continuous training and coaching to ensure quality customer service, and identify and recommend methods to improve management and operations of remarketing operations involving enhanced work processes, increased responsiveness, efficient use of resources, and quality service delivery. They collaborate with various internal departments to ensure all business and compliance practices are followed and interact with department vendors to manage remarketing processes. They also oversee various aspects of project management with strategic business partners.

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of management experience in a call center or retail environment
  • Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is a plus
  • Must be comfortable working on site
  • Familiarity with vehicle titles is a plus
