About The Position

The Manager, Regional Sales Consultant serves as a strategic leader and trusted advisor, responsible for developing, executing, and supporting branch sales strategy across the Florida and Georgia markets. With a high degree of oversight and personal leadership, this role ensures strong alignment between organizational objectives and regional execution. This individual leads a team of Regional Sales Consultants who partner closely with regional executive leadership to translate high-level strategies into practical, results-driven tactics. Through this collaboration, they drive consistency, scalability, and overall performance across the branch network. Acting as the primary liaison for regional acquisitions, this role ensures seamless integration of new business into existing sales strategies, supporting continuity and accelerating performance. A key focus of the position is performance optimization. By monitoring business results and leveraging data-driven insights, the leader identifies opportunities for growth and informs targeted coaching strategies. These efforts are aimed at maximizing revenue through improved client retention, expanded cross-selling, and an enhanced client experience. In addition, the role ensures that all sales activities align with organizational objectives, adhere to sound and ethical sales practices, and remain firmly client-centric. Through ongoing partnership with regional leadership, this individual fosters a culture of accountability, disciplined execution, and a strong focus on delivering value to clients. This position may be located at any First Citizens Bank branch within the Florida or Georgia markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Sales Leadership or Sales Coaching in the Financial Services industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Sales Leadership or Sales Coaching in the Financial Services industry

Responsibilities

  • Provides expert direction and oversight to sales and sales management activities. Ensures strategies and production focus aligns with Bank and regional goals and initiatives. Gauges performance and consistency through process monitoring, reporting, and observation of sales and service delivery. Drives effective utilization of a needs-based sales process, and the modification of tactics as needed to achieve exceptional performance.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on sales coaching and consultation. Focuses on advancing sales skill and product knowledge with continual evaluation on development opportunities and gaps. Facilitates calls with banking partners and leadership. Drives effective execution of sales management routines. Participates in the interview, onboarding, and talent assessment process for branch sales associates and managers.
  • Coordinates consistent sales execution across branches in alignment with wider strategic priorities. Implements and manages sales programs for branch teams, including leading sales conference calls, conducting sales huddles, ongoing communication, and providing team recognitions. Works closely with corporate partners to share insights, gather feedback, identify systematic issues, and create performance enhancements.
  • Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and regional goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes team achievements by providing sales mentoring and professional development.
