About the position

The Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a regional marketing plan and calendar, supporting national marketing initiatives, and working closely with local teams to optimize marketing efforts. They will manage the regional marketing budget, oversee brand entry into new markets, and work cross-functionally with various departments. Additionally, they will lead the planning and implementation of regional events, build relationships with community partners, and ensure consistent branding and messaging. This role requires a multi-faceted individual with sales and marketing experience, event planning knowledge, and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a regional marketing plan and calendar for assigned markets
  • Measure, evaluate, and provide reporting on regional and national marketing initiatives
  • Evaluate local trends in assigned segments or new markets to determine segment penetration opportunities and strategies
  • Manage regional marketing budget and provide guidance on usage throughout individual properties
  • Oversee Convene's brand entry into new and existing markets
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, revenue, operations, real estate, people & culture, and finance departments
  • Support the local sales teams for pre-sell business development efforts
  • Identify and support local community and networking events
  • Represent the company at local, regional, and national meetings with customers
  • Lead the planning and implementation of regional Convene property events
  • Provide support for Convene-attended local trade shows and marketing events
  • Build key relationships with local community partners, vendors, and like-minded brands
  • Drive partnership agreements and potential barters with regional associations, industry bureaus, and local businesses
  • Develop expertise in the regional market landscape
  • Provide content and admin support for various online channels
  • Develop relationships with local influencers and promote business-specific communications
  • Support local PR and media opportunities and activations
  • Educate teams on regional and national marketing initiatives
  • Establish consistent, local positioning/branding image throughout product lines and promotional materials
  • Ensure compliance with Convene brand guidelines for all regional and local marketing materials
  • Analyze and report on marketing analytics and metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders as a team
  • Stay updated on marketing technologies and best practices
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
  • Be a team player in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Candidate must currently reside in the UK and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship
