About The Position

Global Prairie is seeking a Project Manager focused on internal project operations. The role maintains project and pipeline data, strengthens reporting and resource planning, and supports follow-through on processes and meetings. It also coordinates the deployment, tracking and communication of contractors and flexible resources across projects. Working with leaders across business functions, the position translates business needs into coordinated processes, resourcing and staffing plans. The position calls for an organized, proactive professional who can connect details across people, projects and systems, adapt to evolving priorities, and help shape project-operations practices as the company refines how it manages project, staffing, financial and capacity information. The role provides project-management support for new-business pursuits and maintains contractor assignment, workload, availability and time information, including in Kantata. Global Prairie describes itself as a purpose-driven, 100% employee-owned Public Benefit Corporation and certified B Corporation. The company offers healthcare coverage, an ESOP retirement plan, 401(k) matching, health and wellness stipends, and other benefits. The work involves light physical activity and occasional lifting or moving of objects weighing 10–20 pounds. The role will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

  • Comfort working in project-management, reporting, capacity-planning and staffing systems.
  • Proactive communication and consistent follow-through across teams.
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities, deadlines, workload considerations and project-support needs.
  • Confidence identifying gaps, clarifying ownership and moving work forward.
  • Attention to detail balanced with understanding of broader business needs.
  • Collaborative, optimistic, resilient, flexible, curious, community-minded and philanthropic, and ownership-minded approach.
