Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum 5 years of dynamic business experience in any of the following areas: Marketing, Sales, or related experience is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device or other healthcare regulated environment is required.
  • The ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced, customer-focused environment is required.
  • The ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment and be comfortable making informed decisions with incomplete information is required.
  • Demonstration of the ability to partner cross functionally in a matrixed organization, influencing without authority is required.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA is preferred.
  • Ophthalmology experience is preferred.
  • Experience running medical device product lines, including leading product marketing and setting strategic direction for product portfolio is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing successful business plans, and marketing and launching new products, services and programs to the healthcare community is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily product operations under minimal supervision.
  • Executes the Product Management strategy and employs a customer-centric approach that incorporates the latest innovations in research and development.
  • Creates presentations and reports that highlight key performance indicators and reflect the complexities of the market.
  • Incorporates industry best practices into recurring Product Management processes.
  • Utilizes predictive analytical tools to forecast product performance in the market and recommend product enhancements.
  • Coaches and trains junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities.
  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
  • In alignment with the Senior Product Manager, develop and lead the strategic execution of the premium portfolio of IOLs (Presbyopia Correcting IOLs), to achieve growth to meet or exceed Business Plan.
  • Work with Field Sales Organization and Customers to obtain and incorporate feedback and voice of the customer into Premium IOLs plans and strategies.
  • Lead forecast process with Demand Planning, make proposed changes and articulate reasons to believe in leadership reviews.
  • Manage budget for the portfolio to ensure appropriate spending.
  • Ensure appropriate communication of critical information to FSO.
  • Ensure alignment of Channels and Communications plans as well as presence at conferences with the premium portfolio strategy.
  • Veeva, asset creation and approval.
  • Work closely with Global Business Insights, Data Analytics and Field Sales Organization partners to understand US customer purchase behavior and needs, translating it into marketing assets, campaigns and/or commercial programs
  • Work cross functionally to sustain in-market portfolio including competitive responses strategy, commercial programs, contract strategy, channel plans, value messaging, new assets and maintenance of existing assets, etc.
  • Support tactical execution of customer events and tradeshows, symposia, and other annual events.
  • Develop and provide input to training materials, presentations and participate in training activities
