About The Position

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, Procurement CCFS Category , located in New Jersey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in procurement or a related discipline is required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CCFS industry is required
  • Demonstrated leadership and deployment of best practices in ESG strategies is required
  • Leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills are required
  • Experience in identifying and harnessing customer oriented innovative solutions is required
  • Proven track record delivering against a balanced portfolio of key performance indicators (KPIs) is required
  • Ability to influence and understand the diverse needs of stakeholders (e.g., Supply Chain , EH&S ) is required

Nice To Haves

  • an MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through organizational transformation is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of CCFS strategies to establish a world class organization and supply base that the New Consumer Health Company can leverage to create a competitive advantage
  • Align category strategies with the company strategy and goals
  • Deliver financial, ESG, service, and innovation targets
  • Steward financial policy and responsible supplier and procurement standards
  • Leverage and maximize fit for purpose procurement process solutions, including the utilization of world class digital solutions, use of business process outsourcing, and deployment of internal resources
  • Engage with executive leadership in key supplier relationships
  • Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Benchmark industry best practices and continuously advance procurement capabilities
