About The Position

The Analyst, CCFS Category supports Procurement activities across Capital/Equipment, Facilities Services, MRO, and Construction Services categories. This role partners closely with category managers and business stakeholders to provide data analysis, sourcing support, supplier performance insights, and process execution that enable effective spend management and value delivery. This position offers strong exposure to indirect procurement operations, cross‑functional collaboration, and opportunities to build foundational category and sourcing expertise within a global, matrixed organization. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field).
  • 0–2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, operations, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data, reports, and dashboards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑based, matrixed environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Exposure to indirect procurement or services categories such as facilities, MRO, capital equipment, or construction.
  • Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa).
  • Experience supporting RFx processes or supplier analysis.
  • Interest in procurement transformation, digital tools, or sustainability initiatives.
  • English ; additional languages a plus.
  • CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent (not required).

Responsibilities

  • Support CCFS category teams with data analysis, reporting, and insights related to spend, supplier performance, and sourcing activity.
  • Assist with sourcing events, including RFx preparation, bid analysis, supplier comparisons, and documentation.
  • Support supplier management activities, including performance tracking, issue resolution follow‑up, and scorecard maintenance.
  • Maintain procurement documentation such as contracts, sourcing files, and compliance records in accordance with procurement policies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to help clarify requirements, track demand, and support execution of approved sourcing strategies.
  • Leverage procurement systems and tools to support purchase order, contract, and spend analytics processes.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for cost improvement, process efficiency, and standardization within CCFS categories.
  • Support sustainability, ESG, and responsible sourcing initiatives through data collection and reporting.
