About The Position

Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of facilities functions, as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of supply chain development. Build partnerships with transportation and logistics teams to collectively develop and execute strategies within the supply chain network. The role involves optimizing operational throughput, cost efficiency, and inventory accuracy through data-driven methodologies and process engineering. It also includes standardizing workflows, implementing scalable solutions, and designing analytical tools to support supply chain optimization. The Manager will lead and develop a team of engineering professionals, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and manage engineering performance metrics. Collaboration with SOP teams, IT/Product teams, and analysis of distribution center workflows are key aspects. The position also requires conducting root cause analysis, leading time-motion studies, applying Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC frameworks, and piloting innovative solutions. Network-wide optimization initiatives and analysis of defect logs are also part of the responsibilities. Up to 50% domestic travel is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or closely related field and 7 years of work experience as an engineer or in a similar position.
• OR Master’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or closely related field and 5 years of work experience as an engineer or in a similar position.
• Experience leading cross functional teams
• Advanced data analytics skills and knowledge of tools (such SQL, Snowflake, Power BI/Tableau) and statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
• Experience with structured problem-solving techniques such as DMAIC.
• Experience with multi-site supply chain environments

Nice To Haves

• Experience with structured process frameworks and automation tools.

• Experience with ERP/WMS system architecture.
• Experience with Llamasoft.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and deploy analytical and modeling tools to support supply chain optimization, training, and strategic decision-making.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through systematic process evaluation and Lean principles.
• Manage engineering performance metrics; implement structured coaching, training, and corrective actions aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with SOP teams to engineer process documentation updates and define procedural steps for new operational standards.
• Analyze distribution center workflows to identify bottlenecks and optimize key performance indicators through engineered solutions.
• Partner with IT/Product teams to streamline ERP/WMS system architecture, enhance workflows, and enable process automation.
• Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies to eliminate systemic inefficiencies.
• Lead time-motion studies and develop engineered labor standards to drive productivity improvements.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC frameworks to design and validate process improvements.
• Engineer and pilot innovative solutions leveraging automation and industrial engineering principles; scale validated improvements across the network.
• Lead and support network-wide optimization initiatives focused on throughput, cost, and quality performance.
• Maintain and analyze defect logs to identify systemic waste drivers; benchmark performance across facilities to establish best practices and prioritize corrective actions.
• Develops, maintains and utilizes various tools to enable effective development, education and direction of the supply chain process.
• Develops effective communication and processes with the transportation and logistics teams.
• Evaluates suppliers on best value, including service and methods, to improve field productivity and price.
• Drives usage of cost models to validate commodity strategies and to understand significant cost drivers.
• Assists in translating complex system models (Llamasoft, Tableau) into executive-level presentations with analyses and data driven recommendations.
• Schedules and executes periodic evaluations to ensure vendors are adhering to pricing contracts and agreements.
• Ensures effective response time on delivery of materials to the job sites and monitors service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met.
• Provides leadership for supply chain projects both internal and external.
