Manager Printing Services - Bindery (Overnight)
About The Position
The Manager of Printing Services leads and develops production team members in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment. The role sets daily production goals, directs work, manages team performance, and provides timely feedback while fostering a positive culture focused on teamwork and a can-do attitude. Responsibilities include coordinating projects; training team members and contractors; monitoring product and packaging quality; ensuring schedules are followed; assigning work to team members and external contractors; maintaining and purchasing supply inventory; orienting new team members; and ensuring safety practices and processes are followed. The manager completes tasks as assigned by the Sr. Manager. The position requires working 12-hour shifts and performing duties primarily on-site at a Target headquarters location.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in a related field and/or five years of experience in a print environment.
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects and details in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing performance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow prescribed processes and direction.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow job instructions.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to report to and perform job duties primarily on-site at a Target headquarters location.
