Manager Printing Services - Bindery (Overnight)
About The Position
The Manager of Printing Services leads and develops a team of production team members in a fast-paced, 24-7 production environment. The manager provides direction, sets daily production goals, manages team performance, and gives timely feedback. The role is responsible for building a positive culture that prioritizes teamwork and a can-do attitude. Responsibilities include coordinating projects; training team members and contractors; monitoring product and packaging quality; ensuring adherence to production schedules; assigning work to team members and external contractors; maintaining and purchasing supply inventory; orienting new team members; and ensuring safety practices and processes are followed. The manager is accountable for completing tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager. The role is primarily on-site at a Target headquarters location and requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Requirements
- A four-year degree in a related field and/or five years of experience in a print environment.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects and details.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing performance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following prescribed processes and direction.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow job instructions.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to report to and perform job duties primarily on-site at a Target headquarters location.
