About The Position

Klaviyo is seeking a Manager, People Technology to join their team. This role is for someone who is a systems thinker, problem solver, and leader. The ideal candidate will enjoy untangling processes, building smarter systems, and improving user experiences. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, People Technology and will be instrumental in shaping how People Technology supports Klaviyo employees globally. The role emphasizes thoughtful system design, strong team leadership, and leveraging AI for scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in the Workday ecosystem with a strong understanding of functional modules.
  • Deep experience with at least 3 Workday modules.
  • Comfortable owning systems end-to-end, from configuration to rollout to optimization.
  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can lead complex projects with high autonomy.
  • Strong cross-functional partner, able to work effectively with engineers and HRBPs.
  • A builder mindset focused on improving systems, not just maintaining them.
  • AI-forward mindset, curious about how AI can improve People systems and operations.
  • Comfortable experimenting with AI to automate workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual work.
  • Able to identify practical AI use cases and integrate them into day-to-day processes.
  • Experience supporting global HR technology across multiple countries, including understanding regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in a public company environment, with compliance and controls in mind.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, able to tailor messaging to executive and project audiences.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage Workday modules, utilizing the team to configure, optimize, and improve their integration.
  • Drive enhancements, releases, and fixes for Workday modules, focusing on improving the end-user experience for employees, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage and lead projects end-to-end, adapting to changing requirements.
  • Ensure SOX compliance deliverables, including recurring and ad hoc audit processes.
  • Collaborate with People, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to solve problems comprehensively.
  • Translate business needs into Workday or AI-forward solutions and vice versa.
  • Partner with Integrations teams and track data across systems.
  • Identify and fix manual, broken, or overly complex processes.
  • Build workflows that accurately reflect how and where people work.
  • Utilize AI resources to find innovative solutions and automate workflows.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering their technical growth and business partnership skills.
  • Set clear priorities and create structure within a complex environment.
  • Balance hands-on work with leadership responsibilities.
  • Drive accountability and ownership within the team without micromanaging.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and establish trust as a strategic partner.
  • Create clarity amidst ambiguity and guide the team through shifting priorities.
  • Establish scalable processes, documentation, and support models for long-term team success.
