About The Position

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Nurse Manager of the Operating Room at a facility in upstate NY. This leader will oversee approximately 60 FTEs and report to the Director of Perioperative Services. Responsibilities include providing hands-on leadership in daily OR operations, fostering strong staff engagement, supporting a collaborative team environment, and ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality surgical care delivery within a busy surgical services department containing 15+ operating rooms.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Strong operating room experience.
• Previous operating room leadership experience in an acute care setting required.
• Active NY RN License required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Information systems experience (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree preferred.
• Experience in a Magnet-designated facility.
• Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred.
