About The Position
We are seeking a Manager on Duty - Overnight to oversee overnight resort operations at Vacation Village at Parkway. This role involves supporting the Night Audit team, ensuring guests receive exceptional service at all hours, and leading overnight operations. The ideal candidate is independent, calm under pressure, and focused on creating positive guest experiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hospitality management experience required
- Resort or timeshare experience highly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Professional, guest-focused attitude with exceptional customer service skills
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Flexible availability including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced overnight environment
Responsibilities
- Support and oversee overnight resort and Front Desk operations
- Assist with the nightly audit process and Night Audit team support
- Handle guest check-ins, guest concerns, and service recovery situations
- Provide upscale, professional guest service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Coordinate communication between departments to resolve overnight issues quickly
- Oversee VIP arrivals, guest requests, and special accommodations
- Monitor guest feedback, comments, and service trends
- Promote resort amenities, local attractions, and guest programs
- Respond to emergency situations and provide overnight operational support
- Operate courtesy shuttle as needed
- Maintain accurate reports, documentation, and communication logs
