In 2017, Shields created the Strategic Operations team to work directly with the Executive Leadership team on cross-functional projects including operational improvement initiatives, business development opportunities and new business innovation ideas. The team serves as a cross-functional introduction to the Company and provides opportunities to gain access to the core executive team and making a lasting impact on the Company. Members of the Strategic Operations team have the opportunity to experience every aspect of the Company before finding a functional leadership role or leading a new growth initiatives. This will be a very hands-on and analytical role. Strategic Operations professionals will be expected to manage cross-functional projects through completion and support the initiatives with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, highly resourceful, strong analytical skills and possess the ability to work comfortably inside a highly entrepreneurial environment that is very results-oriented.
